This was the debut for Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. It was also their only cartoon made in the 1940s. It set the template for the series, in which Wile E. Coyote (here given the ersatz Latin name Carnivorous Vulgaris) tries to catch Roadrunner (Accelleratii Incredibus) through many traps, plans and products, although in this first cartoon not all of the products are yet made by the Acme Corporation.
Comic artist Brösel trades a magic pen that helps him come up with funny stories for the promise to fulfill one of Rumpelstiltskin's wishes. The Gummi Bears find Cavin passed out in the woods with a Great Gummi Medallion, that was left to him by his grandfather. When he proves he is a friend, the Gummi Bears and Cavin team up to stop Igthorn's plans.

Here, the organization advances its secret conspiracy, codenamed the Dark Age Plan. Butt Detective enters Stardust Island under the guise of an idol. At the same time, he joins forces with Phantom Thief U, who is out to steal back the valuable Moonlight Stone from Phantom Thief G. The story will also reveal more about Brown's past.

Bluto is the ringmaster; Popeye is the star attraction. Bluto covets Popeye's assistant Olive. Popeye sticks his head in a lion's mouth, but Bluto has put a steak on Popeye's head. When he gets out of that, he does his high wire act: carrying a piano, and Olive, blindfolded.
