To make matters worse, the murder victim was Tommy Wilkins, the brother of Jim's fiancee, who now thinks that Jim killed her brother.

A settler and his daughter are trying to homestead a plot of land. They are tricked out of the land by a crooked saloon owner, who then shoots the father and makes a play for the daughter. A local cowboy comes to her rescue.
Following the "no good deed goes unpunished" idiom, when after rescuing a group of settlers, hero Don Miguel Arguella is double-crossed by the group leader who files a claim on his land and makes a move towards his girlfriend. Sadly, this is a lost film.
